CANDLE CARE

Our coconut bowl candles are handcrafted with natural soy wax and clean, intentional ingredients. Because coconut shells are natural vessels, they require specific care to ensure a safe, beautiful, and long-lasting burn.

First Burn Allow the candle to burn until the top layer of wax melts evenly across the entire surface. This prevents tunneling and creates an even burn for all future uses.

Wick Care Trim the wooden wick to 1/8–1/4 inch (3–5 mm) before each burn. A short wick ensures a steady flame and reduces smoke or flickering.

Burn Time Burn your candle in 1–2 hour sessions only. Coconut shells are natural materials and can overheat if burned for extended periods.

Wax Level Stop burning when 1/4–1/2 inch (0.5–1 cm) of wax remains. Do not burn the candle to the bottom of the shell to avoid overheating the vessel.

Safety Guidelines

Place on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.
Keep away from drafts, curtains, wind, fans, or flammable materials.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Never leave the candle unattended.
Do not move the candle while it is lit or when the wax is hot.

If the Flame Weakens Let the wax cool, trim the wick again, and relight. Natural wax may require occasional wick adjustments.

A Note on Natural Shells Coconut shells vary naturally in color, shape, and texture — each candle is unique and one of a kind.
